What is TelemedsForMe?
TelemedsForMe helps you save time and money by finding the best GLP-1 source for you. Our search tool lets you compare providers using criteria tailored to your needs. We're a platform for comparing weight loss providers that offer treatments such as Ozempic®, Zepbound®, Mounjaro®, compounded tirzepatide, compounded semaglutide, and more.
TelemedsForMe is your unbiased information source for GLP-1 telehealth providers. We do not stock, ship, or prescribe medications.
How does TelemedsForMe work?
Our team researches and analyzes telehealth providers, and you win! We collect the information you need—like price, availability, and medication—and cut the marketing fluff so you can make the best and quickest decision for your needs.
Does TelemedsForMe require insurance?
No. TelemedsForMe does not accept insurance and does not require it to use the platform. However, many listed providers may take insurance. We do our best to note which providers accept insurance and which do not.
Does TelemedsForMe prescribe GLP-1s?
No. TelemedsForMe does not prescribe medications. Our goal is to connect you with reputable healthcare providers who do.
How do GLP-1s work?
GLP-1 receptor agonists mimic a natural hormone that helps regulate blood sugar, slow digestion, and reduce appetite. This leads to improved insulin function, prolonged feelings of fullness, and, ultimately, weight loss.
How did you get pricing for these providers? I can't find pricing on their website.
We source pricing the old-fashioned way—through research, calling, and emailing! We do our best to present you with each provider's latest and most transparent GLP-1 pricing. However, we understand that providers may offer limited-time discounts or increase/decrease prices without notifying us. Depending on your situation, you may also be eligible for promotional pricing. Confirm your pricing with your chosen provider.
What is compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide?
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are customized formulations of these medications created by compounding pharmacies. They contain the same active ingredients as FDA-approved weight loss and diabetes treatments, such as Ozempic®, Wegovy®, and Mounjaro®, but may include different inactive ingredients or delivery methods.
Compounded versions are typically prescribed when commercially available medications are in short supply or when a patient requires a specialized formulation. It is important to get compounded medications from a licensed, reputable compounding pharmacy that follows strict safety and quality standards.
Do providers have to pay to be on TelemedsForMe?
No. The weight loss providers listed on our site do not have to pay to be included in search results.
How do you determine which providers to list?
We take a thorough approach to selecting the providers featured on our platform, ensuring they meet certain standards of care and reliability. While new telehealth services appear regularly, not all have the experience or credibility required to be included in our listings, and not all will be a great match for your needs.
Before adding a provider, our team evaluates key factors such as licensing, ownership, pricing, reputation, and patient feedback. We also conduct ongoing reviews to ensure providers meet our standards.
